This is not your typical Google review — I'm not (yet) a customer of Golden State Optometry, which makes what I'm about to say all the more meaningful. A few weeks ago my daughter was excitedly preparing for a theater performance when disaster struck: the screw holding one of her temple pieces came loose. Her glasses correct a strabismus misalignment, so this wasn't just an inconvenience — it was an emergency. I ran to CVS for a repair kit, but the hinge was too bent to fix myself. Showtime was one hour away. Out of options, I googled nearby optometrists and found Golden State Optometry was open (earlier than most). I walked in cold, explained the situation, and Jocelyn and her team went straight to work. Fifteen minutes later, the glasses were good as new. No charge whatsoever! These are clearly good people. Jocelyn sets a tone — warm, capable, genuinely caring — that you can feel the moment you walk in. I'll absolutely be back as an actual customer. Keep up the great work, Golden State Optometry.
